Sunday – Carlos decided that he would pick us up at the hotel at 5:40am, so we were up very early again. The hotel had packed us breakfast, and since we had no luggage to check, we sat and ate in the check-in area of the airport, then headed to immigration and security. It was long and slow, with one of the security machines breaking down just as we were loading our stuff onto it. But we still had plenty of time in the departure lounge, and to browse in the lovely high-end shops around it.
It was an easy transit once we got to Pearson (and yes, our luggage was among the first onto the carousel), and we were home around dinner time with many memories of a great trip.
